Al Ahly basketball player Kayla Thornton stated that she was very happy after defeating Alexandria Sporting Club 82-80 tonight in the Egyptian Cup final. 

“I am so happy for winning my first Egyptian Cup title with the team. Also, I would like to praise my teammates’ performance in tonight’s game, especially Nadine El Salawi, as she managed to score the winning points.” 

“Alexandrian Sporting Club are a great team, and today’s game was very tough, but we were so determined to win the title at the end.”
