Al Ahly have appointed Danish tactician Jess Thorup as head coach of the senior football team on a two-and-a-half-year contract.

Al Ahly’s assistant sporting director for the youth sector, Waleed Soliman, confirmed on Sunday that Dutch coach Art Langelier has officially begun his role as the club’s youth technical director, holding a series of meetings with academy staff and attending matches across various age groups.

Al Ahly SC’s Executive Director, Dr. Said Shalaby, chaired a detailed meeting with branch managers and department heads to review the preparations for the club’s upcoming General Assembly, set to take place on 30 and 31 October at the club's headquarters in El Gazira.
