Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, Al Ahly’s head of medical staff, stated that Hamdy Fathy, our midfielder, will undergo a medical check-up today to evaluate his condition after the surgery.

Dr. Abu Abla added that Fathy’s rehabilitation program will be planned out according to the outcome of today’s checkup.

Our midfielder will face a spell on the sidelines for two months after picking up an injury during Egypt’s match against Kenya in AFCON Qualifiers.
