The South African media has focused on Al Ahly winning on Wydad AC on Saturday night.

Several newspapers have praised the performance of the Red Eagles and Mosimane's tactics against the Morrocan team in the CAF Champions League semi-final. 

The South African newspaper "Kick Off" has issued a report about our game and also praised the team's performance yesterday against Wydad AC.

The newspaper also said that Al Ahly scored early by Afsha, and pointed to the impressive performance of our captain Mohamed El Shenawy who saved an important penalty yesterday. 

Also, the South African news website "24" has also spoken about the game and said that our coach Mosimane succeeded to defeat Wydad AC for the first time in his career.

Soccer Laduma newspaper has also praised Al Ahly and Mosimane in their match's report, as they stressed that Mosimane has continued his success with the Red Eagles after defeating Wydad Casablanca in Morocco.

The report said that Al Ahly's start was like a dream as Afsha scored the opener in the 4th minute due to a defensive lapse from Wydad defender.
Ths South African "Super Sport"  said that Al Ahly had an important win at Mohamed V Stadium, as it also stressed the important rule of Mosimane with the team, who succeeded to win his first African game with us.
