Al Ahly men’s handball first team will face Sokoto Rima of Nigeria on Tuesday at 1:00 PM, Cairo time, in their first match of the African Handball Cup Winners' Cup.

The Eagles will be determined to put on a strong performance and achieve their first win in the competition, which is held in Meknes, Morocco.

The draw of the competition placed us in Group A alongside FAP Yaoundé of Cameroon, Red Star of Ivory Coast, and Sokoto Rima.

While, Morocco's Widad Smara, Angola's Inter Clube, DRC's JSK and Senegal's ASFA will compete in Group B.
