Omar El Araby has signed a four-year contract with the Red Eagles.

Raouf Abdelkader, Al Ahly’s sporting director, announced that the player completed his move to Al Ahly on Monday, adding that the player is a great addition to our gymnastics team.

El Araby has a fruitful and impressive career. He managed to win the gold medal in the individual all-around at the 2021 African Artistic Gymnastics Championships, in addition to winning a silver medal in the men's gymnastics parallel bars at the  2019 Artistic Gymnastics World Cup, which was held in Russia.

Also, El Araby was the only Arab gymnast athlete to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
