The Confederation of African Football “CAF” congratulated Al Ahly on defeating Monterrey of Mexico and reaching the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals. 

The Red Eagles advanced to the FIFA Club World Cup semi-finals after defeating Monterrey of Mexico 1-0 in the first preliminary round of the competition at Al Nahyan Stadium.
