Mr. Hersi A.Said, the President of Tanzania's Young Africans SC paid a visit on Thursday afternoon to our headquarters in Gezira ahead of tomorrow's CAF Champions League encounter between Al Ahly and Young Africans. 

Dr. Saad Shalaby, the club’s executive director, welcomed the delegation and conveyed to them the greetings of Mahmoud Al Khatib, the club’s president, who was unable to accompany them during the visit due to an emergency health situation.

Dr. Shalaby emphasized the depth of the relations between Egypt and Tanzania, as well as the strong ties between Al Ahly and Young Africans SC, adding that Young Africans SC is one of the biggest clubs in Africa and expressed the club’s eagerness for further cooperation with Young Africans SC in all fields.

For his part, Mr. Hersi expressed his happiness to visit the African Club of The Century, adding that the club has huge popularity not only in Egypt and Tanzania but throughout the entire continent of Africa. 

Mr. Hersi noted that he had previously visited Al Ahly nearly ten years ago, pointing out that he is impressed with the development that occurred at the club over the past ten years in all sectors.
