Our women’s football team made history, cruising into the Egyptian Cup semi-finals for the first time with a dominant 9-0 victory over Maadi Sporting & Yacht Club.
The Eagles took control from the start, applying relentless pressure. Habiba Omar opened the scoring in the 11th minute with a stunning long-range strike, followed by Jana Mahmoud doubling the lead just four minutes later.
The Reds kept pushing forward, and Mia Darden added the third with a fantastic finish, giving Al Ahly a 3-0 lead at the break.
The second half saw even more dominance, with the Eagles continuing their relentless attack. Jana Mahmoud struck again in the 49th minute, followed by Nadine Ghazi’s goal in the 55th, and just three minutes later, she doubled her tally with a powerful shot from outside the box.
Nadine fired her third of the night in the 68th minute with a perfectly placed free kick before Hana Osman converted a penalty in the 75th. Ten minutes later, Nadine completed her super hat-trick, sealing Al Ahly’s emphatic 9-0 triumph.
