Al Ahly basketball defeated Tanta 84-64 on Friday night in the second week of the Egyptian league. 

Abdullah Al Faisal Hall witnessed a tough game but Al Ahly's experienced players gave the Eagles the upper hand in the game. 

Al Ahly kept the momentum after starting the season on Thursday with a victory over El Zohour.
