Al Ahly basketball women’s team achieved a narrow 75-72 victory over Sporting  at 6 October hall to win the league title.

Al-Ahly ladies were down 1–0 in the series but they bounced back and won the next two games to win the league title in style.

Dina Amr, the team captain, received the trophy from the Egyptian Basketball Federation President Dr Magdy Abu Frikha and celebrated with her teammates.
