Al Ahly women's basketball team returned to the league competition after securing the first-ever Super Cup title last Tuesday.

Al Ahly basketball ladies put on a strong performance to defeat Misr Insurance Club 96-46 on Monday. 

The Martyrs' hall in Gezira witnessed a solid performance from the Red Eagles who dominated the match from the start to the end.

Kayla Thornton, Soraya Mohamed, and Farida Wael were among some of Al Ahly’s key players in today’s game. 

The Red Eagles came out victorious in all four quarters of today’s match, with the following results: 37-9 in the first quarter, 58-22 in the second quarter, 83-40 in the third quarter, and 96-46 in the last quarter.

Al Ahly ladies will face Shooting Club on Friday in the league.
