Al Ahly's water polo team secured the 2025 Arab Water Polo Championship title after a dominant 14-7 victory over Kuwaiti club Al Kuwait in the tournament's final.
The championship was held in Kuwait, with the decisive match taking place at the Kuwait Club Swimming Complex.
From the outset, Al Ahly controlled the final.
The Cairo-based club raced to a 4-0 lead in the first quarter, extended their advantage to 6-1 in the second, and further solidified their dominance with an 11-4 scoreline in the third.
They completed the match with a commanding 14-7 victory in the final quarter.
Al Ahly’s path to the title included convincing wins over Al Qadsia of Kuwait (21-10), Tunisia's Ben Arous (22-7), and Algeria's Constantine (23-8) in earlier rounds.
