Al Ahly’s football first team will enter a closed training camp 48 hours ahead of Saturday’s encounter against Esperance.

Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly’s head coach, stressed to Sayed Abdelhafiz, the club’s director of football, the importance of having a closed training camp ahead of our game in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semis.

Al Ahly will face Tunisia’s Esperance in Cairo on 26 June in the second leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

On a similar note, Al Ahly's delegation arrived in Cairo in the early hours of Sunday, following the team’s 1-0 victory over Esperance in Tunisia.

The Red Eagles managed to achieve a 1-0 victory over Tunisia's Esperance on Saturday at Hammadi Agrebi Olympic Stadium in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.
