Al Ahly resume training at El-Tetsh stadium

Al Ahly’s first football team resumed training at Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in El-Gezira, following a short break granted to the players in recent days.

Interim head coach Emad El-Nahhas held a team talk before the session, during which he addressed several key points related to the upcoming phase and the team's schedule after the conclusion of the international break.

The training began with various physical drills before moving on to tactical and technical exercises.

The session took place amid the absence of a large number of players currently on national team duty.

The following players have joined Egypt’s senior national team ahead of their 2026 World Cup qualifiers against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso:

Mohamed El-Shennawy, Mostafa Shobeir, Mohamed Hany, Marwan Attia, Ahmed Nabil "Kouka", Mahmoud Hassan "Trezeguet", and Ahmed Sayed "Zizo".

Meanwhile, Hussein El-Shahat, Karim Fouad, and Mohamed Magdy "Afsha" are with the Egyptian secondary squad competing in the Arab Cup.

Achraf Dari and Aliou Dieng have traveled to join the Moroccan and Malian national teams respectively.

Earlier this week, the club announced the appointment of the new technical staff, which includes:

Walid Salah El-Din as Football Director
 Emad El-Nahhas as Head Coach
 Adel Mostafa as General Coach
 Mohamed Nagib as Assistant Coach
 Amir Abdel Hamid as Goalkeeping Coach.
