Al Ahly’s football first team qualified to the CAF Champions League final after defeating Esperance of Tunisia 4-0 on aggregate in the semi-finals of the competition.
The current title holders, Al Ahly, are set to face Kaizer Chiefs of South Africa on 17 July in the final of the CAF Champions League final.

The second leg of the semis saw a massive win for the current title holders, Al Ahly, at Al Ahly WE Salam Stadium on Saturday.
Ali Maaloul gave us the lead from the spot in the 38th minute of the game after Esperance’s defender was sent off due to tacking Taher Mohamed Taher in the penalty area.
It was not until the 56th minute when Sherif was able to double the score for the Red Eagles after receiving a brilliant pass from Afsha.
The Reds continued to dominate the game and were able to add the third goal in the 62nd minute when Afsha’s long pass found El Shahat, whose amazing chip found the net.
On a different note, Kazier Chiefs qualified to the final of the competition after defeating Wydad AC 1-0 on aggregate in the semis.
