Al Ahly to host Women’s Basketball League Africa draw on Thursday

Al Ahly’s Gezira headquarters will host the draw ceremony for the 29th Women’s Basketball League Africa (WBLA) on Thursday, ahead of the tournament scheduled for 4 to 15 December.

The event will be attended by Al Ahly board member Mohamed El Garhy, head of the Supreme Organizing Committee; board members Ibrahim El Amri and Roweida Hesham, the committee’s vice-chairs; FIBA Africa President Anibal Manave; Egyptian Basketball Federation President Amr Moselhy; tournament director Khaled El Awadi; and representatives of the participating clubs and delegations.

Al Ahly’s hosting of this year’s edition reflects the club’s continued support for continental competitions and its efforts to provide the conditions needed for a successful tournament that showcases Egyptian and African sport.
