Al Ahly To Start CAF Champions League Campaign in Niger

Al Ahly will start the CAF Champions League defending-title campaign against Niger’s AS SONIDEP in the 2020-2021 CAF Champions League round of 32.

The Nigerien team reached the round of 32 after defeating Somalia’s Mogadishu City 2-0 on aggregate in the preliminary round of the competition.

The first leg will be played on either 22-23 December 2020 in Niger while the second leg will be played on either 5-6 January 2021 in Egypt.

We will start our campaign to defend the CAF Champions League title from the round of 32, as the draw avoided us participating in the preliminary round.

We managed to clinch our 9th title in the competition’s history after defeating Zamalek 2-1 to extend our record as the team with the most CAF Champions League titles.
