Al Ahly’s under-13 football team (born 2011) eased to a 3-0 win over arch-rivals Zamalek in the ninth round of the National Championship at Al Ahly’s Nasr City grounds.
Ibrahim Amir Tawfik opened the scoring for the hosts with a composed finish from inside the box to give Al Ahly a 1-0 lead at halftime.
Tawfik struck again after the break with a well-placed side-footed effort before Saad Mohamed added a third late on with a precise header.
The result lifted Al Ahly U13 to 18 points from eight matches, with five wins and three draws.
The young Red Eagles have scored 23 goals and conceded just four so far this season.
