Al Ahly’s youth team for players born in 2009 will face Al Nasr FC in a friendly as part of preparations for the new season.
The young Red Eagles recently concluded a training camp in Alexandria, where they produced outstanding performance in a series of friendlies.
Al Ahly’s 2009-born side will open their Egyptian Youth League campaign against Modern Sport on Saturday, 6 September.
The 2025-26 season of the competition begins on 9 September with 21 teams competing in a two-phase format.
In the first phase, each team will play 20 matches in a single round-robin.
The top seven sides will advance to a title-deciding group, while the remaining 14 will compete in a separate group to avoid relegation.
