Al Ahly men’s basketball team achieved an important victory over Alexandria Sporting Club (ASL) on Tuesday night in Game 3 of the Egyptian League quarter-finals.

The Red Eagles put on a solid performance at ASL's Hall in Alexandria and secured an important 77-74 win in a tight game.

The quarter-finals are best-of-five series and the team who wins three games advances to the next round. ASC won Game 1 on Friday night and the Red Eagles bounced back, winning Game 2 and Game 3 to lead the series 2-1.   

ASL's Hall will host Game 4 on Wednesday night, with the Red Eagles having a chance to book their place in the competition’s semi-finals if we managed to win the game.
