Al Ahly's President, Captain Mahmoud El Khatib's speech during the inauguration of Al Ahly's branch in Luxor began with El Khatib welcoming all the attendants, Al Ahly fans and members, and all the audience of the historic occasion. 

"We are witnessing a historic moment and we all should be proud. We are here in Upper Egypt, the land of history and civilization, among our people in the beautiful city of Luxor." 

"Al Ahly, throughout its vast history, is accustomed to having a national role. Today we are witnessing another achievement in the development process of our nation, under the leadership of President Abdelfattah El Sisi who leads the state institutions to put Egypt in a position that suits its stature."

Al Ahly’s Branch in Luxor is the biggest in the governorate as it is built on 13 acres of land and includes:

- Football stadium with a capacity of 5000 fans. 

- Several arenas for the individual and sports teams.

- Olympic swimming pool.

- Indoor hall.

- Five-a-side pitches.

- Social building.

- Several arenas to serve the club's football, basketball, handball, and volleyball academies.

- Gym.

- Mosque.
