Our basketball women’s first team managed to qualify to the semi-finals of the National League after defeating Gezira SC 89-52 in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Al Ahly’s ladies dominated all parts of the game which was held at Abdullah Al Faisal Hall in the club’s premises in El Gezira.

The team concentrated in today’s match on being precise and quick while attacking which resulted in us leading the score in all four quarters of the game.

On a similar note, Al Ahly’s U16 Basketball team achieved an important victory against Gezira SC in the quarter finals of the National League and will play against Smouha SC in the semi-finals of the competition.
