Al Ahly first-team doctor Dr. Ahmed Gaballah announced that Youssef Belamri has successfully undergone knee surgery in Germany.
The procedure involved an arthroscopic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee and was performed under the supervision of German specialist Christian Prall at a hospital in Munich.
Belamri was accompanied on his trip by Dr. Alaa Mamoun, deputy head of Al Ahly’s medical staff.
The player is expected to leave the hospital within 48 hours and return to Morocco, where he will begin the first stage of his rehabilitation program in coordination with the Moroccan national team’s medical staff.
