Al Ahly women’s basketball team captain, Dina Amr expressed her happiness after our team were crowned champions of the first-ever Egyptian Super Cup.

Our captain spoke following the team’s 92-62 victory over Heliopolis SC in the final, stating that team’s spirit is one of the main reasons behind winning the title.

“All our players were determined to win today’s game. They all showed great responsibility in the match, which led the team to dominate the match.”

“Moreover, our manager Ali Hashem prepared us very well for the game. Additionally, he told us that we need to have a strong start in the match in order to control the match from the first quarter.”

“Heliopolis SC is a great team; however, our spirit is the secret for today’s victory.”

“Lastly, we will do our best in order to win all the competitions that we participate in, to please our fans who always support us.”
