We suffered a 1-0 loss to CR Belouizdad on Matchday 4 of the CAF Champions League group stage at the July 5 Stadium in Algiers.
The game was intense from the start, with both teams pushing hard to get an advantage. Al Ahly created several chances but couldn’t find the back of the net.
Al Ahly’s defense held firm for most of the match, but CR Belouizdad won the match in stoppage time when Naoufel Khacef scored the winning goal for the home team.
We are set to face Stade d’Abidjan in Matchday 5 in Ivory Coast on Saturday.
