Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly’s director of football, announced that our first team is set to travel to Niger on 14 October to face Union Sportive de la Gendarmerie Nationale (USGN) in the first leg of the CAF Champions League round of 32.
The Red Eagles will train at El Tetsh in the morning of 14 October and then they will depart for Niger on the same day.
The team will carry out the pre-match training session on 15 October at the game’s venue.
On a similar note, Ahmed Abu Abla, head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, said that the team will undergo a COVID-19 test in Cairo before their journey to Niger, according to the CAF regulations.
