Al Ahly SC president Mahmoud El Khatib, congratulated the club’s women basketball team, along with the coaching, administrative, and medical staff, following their well-deserved victory in the 29th Women’s Basketball League Africa (WBLA), which concluded on Sunday.
El Khatib praised the team's outstanding performance, technical level, and the determination shown by the players throughout the tournament, which led to their triumph.
He also highlighted their earlier success in winning the League Championship, emphasizing that these achievements reflect the collective effort and ongoing development within the club’s sports sector.
Al Ahly president stressed that winning the African basketball title places a significant responsibility on the team to continue delighting the club's supporters, who have always been a strong pillar of support in all of the club’s successes.
