Al Ahly’s men’s handball team have completed their final preparations ahead of the Egyptian Super Cup final against Smouha, to be held at Khalifa bin Zayed Hall in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, on Friday.
The Red Eagles held their last training session at the Khalifa bin Zayed Arena, followed by recovery work at the team hotel later in the evening, according to head coach David Davis and his technical staff.
Al Ahly reached the final after defeating Sporting 29–22 in the semi-finals, while Smouha edged past Zamalek to book their place in the title decider.
The Egyptian Handball Super Cup marks the start of the new season and features four teams, Al Ahly, Zamalek, Smouha and Sporting.
