AL Ahly basketball's women's team head coach, Ali Hashem, expressed his happiness after winning the Cairo League title as Al Ahly defeated Gezira 77-55 in the final. 

“It is great to win the Cairo League title at the beginning of the season. This victory will help us in the new season’s competitions.”

“We managed to overcome the injuries and deserved to win the title. I hope that we keep the winning run going and maintain our habit of winning titles.”
