Mahmoud El Khatib, the club’s president, and Sayed Abdelhafiz, Al Ahly’s director of football, are currently in a meeting to discuss the club’s decision over the fate of today’s game against Esperance. 

Riots have been erupted between Esperance fans and the Tunisian police, who fired gas bombs to control the situation.

Al Ahly players and the game’s officials have left during the warm-up as they were not able to breathe after the Tunisian Police fired gas bombs inside the stadium to control the situation.
