Ali Maaloul, Al Ahly’s defender, performed a 60-minute recovery session during the team’s flight back to Cairo.

Dr. Ahmed Abu Abla, head of Al Ahly’s medical staff, made sure to provide Maaloul with advanced recovery equipment during the team's flight back to Cairo in order to help the player recover in the best way possible after participating in Saturday’s encounter against Esperance.

The Red Eagles managed to achieve a precious 1-0 victory over Esperance in Tunisia on Saturday in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals.

Al Ahly’s football first team will resume their training sessions on Tuesday when they will start preparing for Al Ahly’s game against Esperance in the second leg of the semis.
