Mahrous Reflects On Al Ahly’s Friendly Games

Our handball manager, Tarek Mahrous reflected on the team’s performances in the friendly games that Al Ahly played.

“There are several advantages from the friendly matches that we played, given that the Egyptian League is currently postponed due to the World Men’s Handball Championship being held in Egypt.”

“Our matches against Heliopolis SC and El Zohour SC made us evaluate the team’s technical and fitness levels. Moreover, we gave several of our youth players the chance to play with the first team.”

“We also tried various technical and tactical strategies during these games. Lastly, we made sure that the players are in good physical condition, especially those who returned back from injuries.”
