Match Preview: Al Ahly vs. ES Setif
Al Ahly’s football first team will host ES Setif of Algeria on Saturday at 9:00 PM in the first leg of the CAF Champions League semi-finals at Al Ahly WE Al Salam Stadium.
The defending champions, Al Ahly, will be looking forward to sealing an important win from Saturday’s game in order to have an advantage ahead of the second leg, which will be played next week in Algeria.
The Reds qualified to the semi-finals of the competition after defeating Raja CA 3-2 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
While, the Algerian side booked a spot in the semis after defeating Esperance of Tunisia 1-0 on aggregate.
The Red Eagles have been preparing the past week for their game against ES Setif and concluded the preparations on Friday when they carried their pre-match training session.
Following the session, Pitso Mosimane, Al Ahly’s head coach, announced the team’s squad for the game.
