Ahmed Rashid, Giza Governor, expressed his happiness for attending today’s historic event, as the club’s board of directors, headed by president Mahmoud El Khatib, will lay the foundation stone of Al Ahly Stadium at the club’s premises in Sheikh Zayed City on Saturday.

“The Egyptian State is witnessing a great renaissance in the sporting constructions, under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi including Al Ahly Stadium which comes in light with the nation’s development vision.”
On a similar note, the stadium will be established on an area that is about 48,000 meters, aside from the other surrounding buildings; such as training grounds and the indoor hall.
