Ruch Lviv crowned Champions of Al Ahly International U-16 Cup

Ukraine's Ruch Lviv won the Al Ahly International U-16 Cup after defeating the hosts in a penalty shootout in Sunday’s final.

The three-day tournament, held at Al Ahly's Nasr City facilities from 28 to 30 November, featured 18 youth teams from top clubs worldwide.

The event was organized by Al Ahly Football Company in cooperation with Live Adventure.

The competition was divided into three groups of six teams.

Each team played five round-robin matches, with the top two from each group, along with the two best third-place teams, advancing to the quarter-finals.

The knockout stage determined the semifinalists, followed by the final and third-place play-off.

All matches were played on full-size natural grass pitches, with each game consisting of two 20-minute halves.
