Soraya Ibrahim, Al Ahly basketball player, will be out for the rest of the season after she damaged an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) during the Cairo League final against Gezira.
Ibrahim will undergo medical surgery on her knee and will be forced to face a lengthy setback until she fully recovers.
On a similar note, the Red Eagles managed to clinch the Cairo League title after defeating Gezira 77-71 at Cairo Stadium hall on Tuesday.
