Mariam Metwally, Al Ahly women’s volleyball team player, stated that the team deserved to win the Egyptian Cup title after defeating Shooting Club 3-2 on Monday.
“We deserved to be crowned as the Egyptian Cup champions. We had the determination to win, despite the great performance of our opponents. We fought in the fifth set and clinched the title.”
“I am proud of my teammates and their determination to win the game. It was easy to see how fatigue affected the team's performance in the third and fourth sets, but we bounced back in the decisive set to secure the title.”
