Suhaila Wafik, Al Ahly women’s volleyball team player, said that the team had a good start in the African Women's Club Championship after defeating Ghana’s El-Wak Wings on Sunday.
“Losing the first set gave the players a great motivation to win the game. It was hard for us because we did not play any game since winning the Egyptian Cup. However, we had great confidence in ourselves that we will win the game.”
“Everyone is keen to win all the upcoming games to reach the final. We respect all the opponents, but our goal is to win the African title.”
