Taher: I am Proud to Join the African Club of the Century

Our new signing Taher Mohamed Taher showed up at the club premises in Gezira on Saturday to meet with our head coach Pitso Mosimane and our Director of Football Sayed Abdelhafiz.

He also met with his new teammates at El Tetsh stadium on the sidelines of today’s training session.

We met with our new signing to talk about fulfilling his dream to wear the red jersey and his ambitions with the club.

“It is a great feeling to be joining the biggest club in Egypt and Africa and to be at El Tetsh stadium. This makes me happy and enthusiastic about my new experience with the African Club of the Century.”

"I wanted to help my teammates in the Cup matches but I will focus on proving my abilities and compete with my teammates to achieve the best results for the team and win titles to make our fans happy.”

“I will wear Number 27, which is the same number of the day when the CAF Champions League final will be held at the end of the month. I wish the number brings good luck to me and my teammates.”

“I met with our coach and Captain Sayed Abdelhafiz and listened to their instructions and advice. I am familiar with these points as I already know the club and its values.”
