Tawfik Joins Full Training

Al Ahly player Akram Tawfik rejoined the team’s full training on Sunday ahead of our game against Pyramids FC in the Egyptian Premier League.

Tawfik returned to training after testing negative for COVID-19.

Tawfik missed our game against Al Mokawloon Al Arab SC and our medical staff decided to carry out a second COVID-19 test for the player ahead of his return to training.

The Red Eagles underwent a coronavirus test on Sunday, as part of the precautionary measures set by the Ministry of Health prior to the official league matches. 

Al Ahly are currently at the top of the EPL table, having a total of 20 points from 8 games.
