Al Ahly men’s basketball coach Ashraf Tawfik spoke following our 73-68 victory over Telecom Egypt SC tonight in the league

“Losing the Egyptian Super Cup affected the players a lot. So, it was very important to defeat Telecom Egypt SC tonight, as they are tough opponent and have a lot of good players.”

“Al Ahly have a lot of absences, which affected our performance, but I have full confidence in the whole team.” 

“Al Ahly have a lot of difficult games in the league, but we will do our best to win. I am currently handling all the difficult circumstances that we face, especially after suffering from several injuries in the team”
