Al Ahly team doctor Ahmed Gaballah said on Tuesday that head coach Jess Thorup had recovered from a sudden health issue and was discharged from hospital to rejoin the team’s training camp in Alexandria.
Thorup suffered a health scare on Monday and was taken to hospital, where he received treatment under the supervision of the club’s medical staff.
After spending a day in hospital, Thorup was discharged early on Tuesday and is set to join Al Ahly’s camp ahead of Wednesday’s Egyptian Premier League final match against Al Masry at Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria.
