Al Ahly women’s first volleyball team has booked their place in the quarterfinals of the African Clubs Championship, which the club is hosting until 24 April, after defeating Kampala City of Uganda 3–0 in the round of 16 on Sunday.
The match was held on Sunday at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Hall, where Al Ahly dominated thanks to excellent setting and powerful attacks.
Al Ahly took the first set 25-19 and maintained control in the second with a 25-9 score after a strong attacking display.
The team sealed the third set and the match with a 25-13 victory.
Al Ahly women’s volleyball team will face the winner of the match between Sococim of Senegal and Litto Volleyball of Cameroon in the quarterfinals.
