Al Ahly SC women’s volleyball team continued their dominant season by winning the Egypt Cup after defeating rivals Zamalek SC 3-0 to claim their third title of the campaign.
The match was held at the hall of Al Ittihad Alexandria Club in Alexandria, where Al Ahly produced a strong performance to secure the trophy in convincing fashion.
Al Ahly edged the opening set 27-25 before extending their advantage with a comfortable 25-15 win in the second, helped by solid blocking and powerful serves.
The Red Eagles maintained control in the third set to seal it 25-21 and clinch both the match and the Egypt Cup title.
The triumph marks another milestone in Al Ahly’s campaign this season after they previously won the Egyptian Volleyball Super Cup and the Egyptian League Volleyball Championship, continuing a trophy-laden run in what has become a historic season for the team.
