
Volleyball: Women’s African Clubs Championship – Day Five Summary
The Women’s African Clubs Championship continued on Friday at Al Ahly’s headquarters in Cairo, with 18 teams competing in the continental tournament running from April 11-24.
In Group A, hosts Al Ahly cruised to a 3-0 win over Descartes.
Group B saw Ghana’s Kalibi Volleyball Club beat DR Congo’s VC La Loi 3-0, while Kenya Pipeline defeated Senegal’s Sococim by the same scoreline.
In Group C, Directorate of Criminal Investigations secured a 3-1 victory over Nigeria Customs Service, and Kampala Central City Authority swept past Les Aigles du Congo 3-0.
In Group D, Kenya Commercial Bank completed a 3-0 win over Litto Volleyball, while Vipers beat Seychelles’ ARSU National Volleyball Club 3-1.
