Volleyball: Women’s African Clubs Championship – Day One Summary

The Women’s African Clubs Championship kicked off on Monday at Al Ahly’s headquarters, with 18 teams taking part.

Al Ahly SC is hosting the continental tournament from 11 to 24 April.

Kenya Commercial Bank defeated Kalibi Volleyball Club of Ghana 3-1 in the opening round of Group D matches on Monday.

Gender Light of Burundi claimed a 3–0 win over VC La Loi of DR Congo in the opening Group B fixture.

Tunisia’s Club Féminin de Carthage secured a 3–0 victory over Kenya’s Directorate of Criminal Investigations in Group C.

Nigeria’s Customs Service defeated Kampala Central City Authority 3–1 in another Group C match.

Cameroon’s Litto Volleyball beat Nigeria’s Vipers 3–1 in Group D.
