Al Ahly lifted the Egyptian Super Cup on Sunday after defeating arch-rivals Zamalek 2-0 in the United Arab Emirates, securing the trophy for the fifth consecutive season and the 16th time in the club’s history.

A total of 120 players have contributed to Al Ahly’s record 16 titles across 20 editions of the Egyptian Super Cup, according to club statistics released after the team’s latest victory over Zamalek.

Al Ahly captain Mohamed El Shenawy was named Best Goalkeeper of the Egyptian Super Cup after the 2-0 victory over Zamalek at Mohamed bin Zayed Stadium in the United Arab Emirates on Sunday.
