Akram Tawfik, Al Ahly’s midfielder, sent a motivational message to all his teammates in the national team and Al Ahly ahead of their upcoming decisive games.
In a video conference between him and Ahmed Abu Abla, Al Ahly’s doctor, Tawfik sent a message of support to our players ahead of their game against C.F. Monterrey in the FIFA Club World Cup.
“I would like to wish the players all the best ahead of Saturday’s encounter. I hope that they accomplish a better achievement than what we did last year.”
Tawfik, who is currently preforming a recovery program in Austria after having a successful surgery in Germany, sent a message also to his teammates in the national team before their game against Cameroon in the semi-finals of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
“I have complete faith in the national team that they’ll advance to the final and win the tournament. They deserve nothing but the best because I know that they exerted a lot of efforts to reach this stage of the competition.”
Tawfik was forced to leave the national team’s camp after tearing his ACL in Egypt’s opening match against Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations.
