Dr. Saad Shalaby, Al Ahly’s executive director, received a delegation from Gaza Coaches Forum on Tuesday at the club’s premises in Gezira.

The coaches have spent the last couple of days in Cairo as they visited Al Ahly’s youth sector in the Nasr City branch to observe the youth sector’s training methods and bring this experience to the youth players in Gaza.

“I would like to welcome our brothers from Palestine. Al Ahly have always enjoyed great relation with the Palestinian people and the Palestinian sports community. We are more than happy to help our Palestinian brothers and I wish that they have made the best out of this visit to our youth sector.” Dr. Shalaby said.

Dr. Shalaby exchanged shields with the forum’s head, Anwar El Ghalayini, who expressed his happiness with the warm reception by Al Ahly’s officials.

El Ghalayini said “We have felt the great development and achievements at Al Ahly’s youth sector. We have gained great knowledge from the lectures and the panels that our coaches have attended during this visit. We will transfer this experience to our colleagues in Gaza and try to apply what we have seen here at Al Ahly in our youth systems.”
